  1. Green Man is a photo of the grave of Victor Noir, who was shot dead in a duel by Prince Pierre Bonaparte. - the great nephew of Napoleon. Noir became a martyr of the Parisian people, and his funeral was attended by over 100,000 people. Noir’s erect trousers are so pronounced and popular, it actually has a following. Legend says that placing a flower in the upturned top hat after kissing the statue on the lips and rubbing its genital area will enhance fertility, bring a blissful sex life, or, in some versions, a husband within the year. Due to the popularity of his gravesite, Noir’s groin and face are smooth and coppery. Green patina coats the rest of the sculpture .
